The new website is based on Open Journal Systems (OJS),an open platform for manuscript handling for academic publishers similar to the systems used by commercial publishers. Submissions of papers are now handled through this website, and the system is also used for your review assignments.

Sociologisk Forskning publishes scientific articles within the field of sociology and has a special focus on Swedish and Nordic society. The journal adheres to a double-blind peer review process and is published with immediate open access. Sociologisk Forskning was founded in 1964 and is today indexed in, amongst others, Web of Science and Scopus.
Sociologisk Forskning is published by the Swedish Sociological Association with support from the Swedish Research Council.
